When I was in college a fellow artist painted a picture of a pig with a crow sitting on its back. The image stuck with me and, while thinking about it the other day, I decided to give a similar image a try using 3d rendering. I didn’t really like the result but I rather like the farmyard environment I had made for the background. So I changed the image around a bit, added a rabbit, and came up with this.

Note: This image uses purchased content. The animals were posed using Poser 6 then imported into Vue 9 where I build the rest of the scene. Final rendering was done in Vue 9 and took about 48 hours on an intel i5 2.8 GHz with 8 GB of RAM. Post production was done in GIMP.
