This little piggy looks like he might be in trouble. He's lost in a flooded forest and appears stuck on a fallen tree as the waters rise around him. But don't worry, pigs can swim :)

I actually had no idea that pigs could swim until I one day visited a now defunct amusement park in San Marcos, Texas called Aquarena Springs. They featured a 'Swine Diving' Pig named Ralph that could indeed swim. The park closed and the area is now a research center for Texas State University.

Note: This image uses purchased content. The pig was posed in poser 6 then imported into vue 9 where the rest of the scene was built. Final rendering was done in Vue 9 and took about 2 days on an Intel I5 2.8 GHz with 8 GB of RAM. Post production was done in GIMP.

I adore this. Pigs are in my humble opinion one of the most adorable animals and this render literally made my day! Actually pigs swim very well and enjoy splashing in ponds and pools of some sort. I think it helps them cool off. This little chap doesn't look worried. In fact, the facial expression says something like "I am the wood-king!" and so on :).

The animal looks very furry. Did you use LAMH plugin? I believe how much work it required to pose the tail. In zero pose my DAZ pig has a very strange one ;). Anyway, thanks a lot for sharing. The more piggies, the merrier!

Thanks! I actually just painted the fur on for this one using GIMP. I just got the LAMH plugin working yesterday and am still experimenting with it.
