Showdown in the Forest

A Persian cat with long light grey hair sits on a rock in the forest. Apparently, he has claimed this part of the forest as his territory. It's dense and misty with sunbeams breaking through the canopy onto a fern covered forest floor. It's quite a pleasant spot. The furry feline likes it. The only problem: a stag has blundered into the cat's pristine wood. This cat has decided to calmly stare down the buck. Perhaps a hiss will be required to give the big stupid deer the hint that he should move along.

I have a couple of Persian Cats. The have long light grey fur like this. It makes them look big and intimidating (for a house cat at any rate). The male knows this and will give larger things this kind of look. He insired me to make this cat themed artwork. I've done some deer art before and some cat images too, but this is the first time I've tried combining the two animals into one wildlife scene.
