Otter by a Stump

Where I live, I encounter the occassional river otter. For this next entry in my wildlife art series, I have depicted one such otter searching for fish at a fork in the river.

Note: this image uses purchased content. The stump was built in sculptris, and the otter was posed in poser. Both were imported into Vue where the rest of the scene was constructed. Final rendering was done in Vue and took about 6 hours on an Intel I5 2.8 GHZ with 8 GB of RAM. Post production was done using GIMP.
