Every weekday morning, I get up at the crack of dawn while my wife and kids still sleep. I go downstairs and eat breakfast, and, inevitably, my cat Anna plops down right next to my food and stares at me the whole time I'm eating. I'd say she was guarding my food, but if I look away, she tries to steal something. Such was the inspiration for this particular image.

Made for the DAZaholic weekly theme: "Guardians"

The cat was posed in poser then imported into Vue. Everything else was sculpted in zbrush then brought into Vue for texturing and materials. Final rendering was done in Vue and took about 6 hours. Post production was done using GIMP.
