Mammoth in the Fog by deskridge Mammoth in the Fog by deskridge
On a misty morning, a grey woolly mammoth trudges through the snow and grass. He looks a bit annoyed that you are in his way.

Woolly mammoths were cousins to elephants that roamed both Northern Europe and North America. These magnificent animals went extinct around ten thousand years ago. The reasons for the extinction have not been agreed upon and may be attributed to climate change as the ice age ended or overhunting by prehistoric humans.

I don't remember exactly what I used, but generally I go pretty thin, around 100 for the root and 70 for the tips. Then when I export it to obj, I have around 300,000 to 500,000 hairs for a full bodied animal (always remember to hit the enter key after entering this number, there is a bug in LAMH that won't read the number unless you do).
