Fallen Tree Bridge by deskridge Fallen Tree Bridge by deskridge
Long ago a tree fell across a small rocky forest stream creating a natural bridge. Little remains of the tree but a mossy, fungus covered, hollow log. Yet still it spans the meandering creek. Ferns and moss covered rocks line the banks of the water, and, just behind bridge, ivy attacks another old twisted oak. Perhaps this tree too will one day bridge the stream.

I actually created this scene originally for my "Tiger on a Log" work ( daniel-eskridge.artistwebsites… ). But, I thought that it also made for a pretty good landscape scene on its own.

Tools used: Sculptris, Vue, GIMP

Thanks for looking!
Daniel Eskridge
