Deep Woods Still

In a dense forest, behind an old twisted tree, a moonshiner has built a still from stone, copper, and a couple of wooden barrels.  This apparatus is for making illegal, back-woods whiskey.  It's a common part of the culture of the southern Appalachian mountains.  

Somewhere nearby a fresh mountain stream meanders through the woods nearby giving off a morning mist.  The shallow creek is an important resource for the bootlegger, providing water both the mash in the pot and way of cooling the coil in the condenser. The dense forest provides a cover so that the illegal activity is hidden from the authorities.
